The RCMP OCC is located at the Alta Vista Headquarters and required expansion.
ASRA conducted the HMI (Human-Machine-Interface) design reviews for the control
room operations. Review included electrical, mechanical and architectural
concerns related to a project of this scope. This expansion project required
the design of six (6) operator consoles, accommodating seven (7) operators
simultaneously, as well as related electrical and mechanical infrastructure
and operational support requirements. In the assessment and reporting, ASRA
led the design team and applied the use of International (ISO) standards in
Control Room Design as well as documented standards for ergonomic workspaces
and HMI design requirements.
